Welcome to the Republic of South Africa, located at the Southern Tip of the African continent. Roughly twice the size of the US state of Texas, South Africa is home to 59 million people. The most populous country located entirely south of the equator.

COVID-19, layered atop devastation brought by HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis, and other diseases, have made the nation a major humanitarian issue.

A lack of clean water now looms as another crisis coming in the near future. Significant numbers of migrants are moving from rural villages into cities, expanding pressure to meet water demands and bringing restrictions, disease, and increasing levels of water theft.

The resulting devastation to arable land has made much of the country unable to produce its own food. This, in turn, has led to an increasing need to import foodstuffs and negative impacts on the nation’s overall economy.

To solve all their problems, we’re focusing on expanding water supplies.
